Joan Frank is well known for fresh ideas, energy, integrity and a keen ability to garner stories that make clients stand out. Thanks to her innate ability to determine what’s truly newsworthy, she has become the go-to for many clients and media contacts in Michigan and beyond.
Joan has secured an extensive, diversified client base for B Frank Communications, ranging from high-end retailers to health care and the food industry. Some of the clients past and present include: Dunkin’ Donuts, Productions Plus-The Talent Agency, Orchard Mall, Celebrity Psychic Medium Thomas John, Wendy’s, attorney Sabrina Cronin and Hall & Hunters Realtors. With more than 30 years in the world of advertising and PR, she has developed relationships that enable her to create success for clients.
Joan started her career with a focus on special events such as the Detroit Grand Prix and the Montreux Jazz Festival. She worked for various agencies around town before opening her own business over 26 years ago.
Her varied background boasts a bachelor’s degree in Communications from Boston University and masters with a focus on health promotion from the University of Michigan.
Joan lives in Berkley and is the mother of three– two human children and one of the fuzzy kind.
